Why charter Ree?

Considering she is a non-flybridge yacht, Ree has an extremely spacious deck area. The aft deck/doghouse is where guests spend most of their time. The crew enjoy sailing – so much so that they have been known to exclusively sail her (no engines or motor-sailing) for an entire month. The crew are proud of her environmental credentials, from using eco-friendly cleaning products using their own bicycle fleet, complete with trailers, to reduce the use of cars while travelling around ports. Ree has a unique crew who like to adapt to wishes of their guests – whether it’s a quiet family or 10 young men determined to have fun.

A welcome note from the captain

“This is a proven design, and Ree has been very well maintained and modernised, both cosmetically and technically. She sails really well and easily makes 12 knots under sail. Ree has a great shape, long and well weighted so she’s not too deep – she draws just 2.9m making it possible to visit some interesting, shallows places in the Bahamas. We have a down to earth crew and offer intimate friendly charters.”

On deck living

The large enclosed cockpit (doghouse) allows for dining for 12, with a separate lounge area. This flows out to the aft deck, which has movable steamer loungers and can be shaded by awnings as required. There are many different areas to enjoy the sun and breeze including a sunbathing spot forward of the doghouse. There is also a hammock with awning for the ultimate relaxation session, and a beanbag pit for sunbathing.

Entertaining

The most popular dining option is in the large enclosed cockpit with large picture windows, which offers protection from sun or wind. On occasions guests request to dine in the main saloon. There is also plenty of deck space for drinks parties.
